Does anyone know about this show that's touring Called Lord of the Dance. I'm going tonight. My wife got tickets and told me it's like another show that came around, previously, called Riverdance and she said it was about fishing so I didn't put up a fight about going. Now I'm starting to think maybe I was duped. Who in their right mind would make a musical about fishing. Even if it's not about fishing I heard there's pretty girls in it. Anyway, if anyone knows, I'd appreciate it.

Boy you were duped! Modernized Irish step dancing (Jig). This should give you a "Get Out Of Jail" card with the Mrs all the way into November!

Well, Jimbo, at least you'll give the Mrs. something to laugh with her girlfriends over for the next 5 or 10 years -

Picture Irish guys doing this::happy:

She owes ya.

Big time.

Yes you got duped:laughs: I saw it in Reno, NV 8 or 9 years ago. We kept waiting for the lead girl to fall out of her top if ya know what I mean. ( She was cute too)

Funny thing, I was dragged by Crazy Alberto and friends to go see Riverdance on Broadway. It was pretty good. If I recall correctly, there were several different int'l styles of dancing, not just Irish penguin step dancing.

If your Smart you'll parlay it into 2 Get Out Of Jail Free cards - One for lying about it and one for making you sit through it. :D

Wasn't so bad watching dozens of pretty, short skirted (or maybe that's very short skirted) women with long wavy hair dancing vigorously about the stage from 8 rows back....the help of a couple 24 ounce Arena beers certainly didn't ruin the ambiance. There definitely wasn't any fishing going on, but I wrote Michael Flatley and suggested a little cast and retrieve might enhance the show a little. If you have a chance it was pretty good. Both kids and adults would enjoy it.

I think you been eatin them retard sandwiches again jimbo. Glad you had a good time, takes a big man to keep an open mind about dancing (and I'm small so I don't have to).
I'll be thinking about your social conscience as I fish in the beautiful river in about 2 hours.
Later,
Rick

Confucious Say: It take a big man to have an open mind about dancing, but it smart man who agree to go to Lord of Dance on weeknight to earn the brownie points necessary for a Saturday to be named later, to go fishing.

And at times for no apparent logical reason, boyo - ah, we've all been there, me lad....
