For night use, I currently have a great Princeton Tec light attached to a nylon lanyard around my neck. Problem is that at night in the dark, I cant find the light easily amongst all the fabric and other junk, and also, its just one more thing to get wet and stay wet, and finally its black, which makes it "invisible".

I've seen photos where guys attach some sort of tubing with electrical tape to the light, thus giving it easier access, more stiffness to find it easier, and it doesnt absorb water. I figure a lighter color would be easier to find as well.

1/2" to 1/4" diameter seems good. My only problem is where do I get this tubing? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Try heat shrink tubing over your lanyard. Radio shack? Electrical supply house?

I use a Mag-Minni Lite, and took the pocket clip off a magic marker and attached it to the Mag Lite, then clip it on my hat
visior. Its always handy, and don't have to look for it.

Just use a length of aquarium air hose taped together. Most hardware stores will have it.
