Last year I went thru 2. Got one everyone told me was good but the switch shorted out the 3rd trip out. I need a 2mil+ CP hand held spot that can run/charge off 12V and is weather resistant. This will see some salt spray, I can't avoid that.
ANY rec's from you pros?
At the moment I have a coleman but it is not really that HD...it is working but I would really like a kick ass one.

I will have to check the manufacturer of mine, has been with me for two different boats now no troubles, it's a big sucka though. When boat comes back from getting a bearing seal on the trailer fixed I will giva ya a shout.

I put a Guest Spotlight on my hardtop last year. It has spot and flood settings and rotates about 300 degrees. It also goes up and down probably 140 degrees. I can hit anything in my path as well as turn it to the right and down and light the entire port quarter for landing a fish in darkness.
It's not a hand held but it performed very well for me last year. If you want the model number, etc., I'll get it for you, just ask.
I had bought a 1-million powered spotlight from Home Depot 3-years ago for about $15.00 it still works perfectly. It held a charge all last season :).
