I prefer to just cut the thread near the inside of the foot and unwind it. I think its a little more time consuming but a lot safer to avoid nicking the blank. When everything is peeled off , you can lightly sand with fine sandpapr to rmove any residue. Be carefull not to remove resin from the blank and expose the fibers Bawana 05-06-2004, 05:35 PM ditto---and Roger told me a while back that instead of sanding or scraping he uses a dremel tool with a nylon brush and it removes the epoxy from blank without damaging the finish on the blank.I havent had a need to try it myself yet but will if a need pops up. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
