Too bad, heal up soon. Maybe you can add fishing as part of your physical therapy....

Sorry to hear the news. Hope you heal quickly. Did the doctor tell you no fishing? Hopefully you'll be going before you know it. I found that during my leg injury doctors tended to give you the worst prognosis. For instance my doctor told me I was going to be on crutches for 12 weeks, and probably wouldn't be playing sports again. To make a long story short, I was playing hoops in 8 weeks. I wish you a speedy recovery.

Leptar,
So sorry to hear of your troubles. Praise God for the surgeons and other Doctors and Nurses.
Will offer Prayers that you gain full use of your hand as time goes by.
As k your Doctor if you shouldn't maybe give your hand a soaking in God's Green Ocean waters while you get into therapy movements.
Good Luck.
Keep us posted!

that is bad news..... thats a very important line feeling finger....
.well sorry you cannot fish this spring but you could watch others fish just to make you feel a bit better..... just a thought.

ever heard of comfrey tea....it was called knitbone in the old old days....it has a compound called allantoin in it.....sort of a cellular glue that makes wounds heal very fast. Allantoin is a substance found within our own bodies.....so having extra quantities available is a Good thing. All wounds heal in time...may you have a speedy recovery.
