I haven't seen any yet... but I heard they were there a week or so ago. Seems a little early yet

Trolled Succunessett shoal for a while last weekend. Nothing. To me that says they aren't there yet. I bet you they will be by this weekend though

Jim, wait for the 3rd or last week of May to the first week of June, then you will be connecting bluefish on your plugs in no time.

I haven't caught one yet but I have heard of a school of small blues on the poppanasett beach area. Some were caught and were brought in to a shop in the area.

Another day like yesterday and they will be here pronto..Nothing like 80+ deg to fire things up. Water temps are now starting to really move in the shallow water!
I am excited to see a lot more baitfish this year as compared to last year. Local Herring stocks appear to look stronger too. Things are shaping up nicely. I have already seen birds working hard on a big school of something about a mile off the beach...just out of reach even with my Arra stick:D
