Seems a little early yet KJLane 05-11-2004, 02:42 PM Trolled Succunessett shoal for a while last weekend. Nothing. To me that says they aren't there yet. I bet you they will be by this weekend though Notaro 05-11-2004, 04:23 PM Jim, wait for the 3rd or last week of May to the first week of June, then you will be connecting bluefish on your plugs in no time. Fisherwoman 05-11-2004, 08:08 PM Jersey Jim, any day now, just need the right tides and the right wind then look out!!! bassmaster 05-11-2004, 09:20 PM all im going to say is , any day now. Skitterpop 05-11-2004, 10:22 PM Thank you Mr. Sandman 05-12-2004, 07:58 AM I haven't caught one yet but I have heard of a school of small blues on the poppanasett beach area. Some were caught and were brought in to a shop in the area. Another day like yesterday and they will be here pronto..Nothing like 80+ deg to fire things up. Water temps are now starting to really move in the shallow water! I am excited to see a lot more baitfish this year as compared to last year. Local Herring stocks appear to look stronger too. Things are shaping up nicely. I have already seen birds working hard on a big school of something about a mile off the beach...just out of reach even with my Arra stick:D bart 05-12-2004, 09:33 AM hit south cape and poppenesset last night, no blues but plenty of schoolies FishWebb 05-12-2004, 10:05 AM What were you tossin' bart? bart 05-12-2004, 10:13 AM check your PM's vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
