We just got back from our annual trip to Santee, SC and had a blast. We fished the upper parts of Lake Marion and the lower Congaree/Wateree Rivers. Ended up with about 9 keeper rockfish and 10 nice channel cats. Probably could have done more if the weather had been better in the beginning of the week. Trying to get back to reality now after a week of kicking back and relaxing/fishing.

What's the size limitations down there? How big was your biggest?

21" minimum.
5 fish per person.
Most of our fish were in the 23" to 25" range with the biggest at about 27". No minimum or limits on the cats (that I know of) ours averaged about 8lbs with the biggest at about 15lbs. The stripers are not huge on average but do get up to 20-30 lbs. quite often. The best thing is the laid back way of fishing. Can catch pretty good numbers when you get in them (25+ fish per day).
