Hey Guys,
After and arduous four hours in court, most of it spent tracking down documents in three different offices, I finally got the papers to a judge.
Was a little rough, though. The ex almost died in surgery three months ago and she's rethinking all of her life decisions. Had to stop her from crying many times...But after lots of waiting and form filing I've got a 4 month waiting period until I'm officially unofficial.
I can't believe how easy it is to get married, and how hard it is to get divorced!!!!!
Starngely enough, I stepped outside to smoke a butt a few minutes ago and she drove right by me...we live like 20 miles away from each other, and I live in a very residential area that isn't aroud anything???
Figured she wanted to say something to me, but she kept right on driving.
In the end it's great for me, but kind of sad at the same time.
Oh well, time to stop crying and hit the road to meet Mikey, Dad and Brandon in CT for a little post litigative (sorry mike P is that a word?) therapy ....Down by the river!
Later,
Rick
