I go out during the day and store the spots that I want to try. Then when I go out at night I can find my spots very easily. I also store where I leave my vehicle so that getting back is easy as well. It has been pretty interesting to see how sandbars and holes move from year to year. I have been using a etrex Venture by Garmin. Easy to use and no complaints. This will be my third year with it. Could I live without it, sure, but I like gadgits. Slingah 05-14-2004, 06:59 PM um.....that's cheating quick decision 05-14-2004, 07:42 PM Ask Rolland Martin. he did when he went bluefish fishing on Cape cod. Or at least his guide did. Walked along beach at low tide looking for holes. Fungus 05-15-2004, 04:27 AM Surely Bassey, I got mine at Kittery Trading Post for about $175 during a large sale when the regional sales rep was there. To be honest I did not get it for the sole purpose of fishing. I have undeveloped property up in central Maine and the main reason for the purchase was to use it up there so that I did not get lost in the woods.
