Just got an email from paypal. had all the right stickers and look .. They wanted a credit update ..all accounts,,bank ,,checking ,, Credit card .,,with numbers and passwords ..I forward it to Paypal Fraud dept.. Guess What ???? wasn't from them .. this page looked good .. Had a little scare tactic too .. If you didn't get this info to them your account would be cancelled..Now I'm wondering if I filled one of these updates out before ?

If they're asking for passwords its definitely a scam!

Hi Tagger, Same thing happened to me a few weeks back. I forwarded it to the Fraud unit and they confirmed it was a spoof mail and are investigating it. I will right click on the from in outlook espress and then click on the details to see who really sent it. Try it it's interesting.

That's not always going to work. The internet email standard is built such that anyone can spoof anything.
Just live by this rule... NEVER EVER send out sensitive information in these emails. Most companies try to protect against this by having a policy that says they will never ask for your information this way.
