I recently started using my new Daiwa Emblem Pro 5500, and I noticed that the bale has a tendency to flip over prematurely on the cast. I've lost half a dozen four ounce jigs in two trips because of this...

(cast)... SNAP!... "F@#%!"... (moment of silence).. SPLASH

Has anyone else experienced this problem, either with this reel or others? Can't catch any fish if I lose all my jigs!!

Pretty much the best casts... I had the same luck without the jigs on my line as with them...no bass!

As I recall, you donated a jig or two to the aquatic world the other morning as well...:smash:
