Attn all NCSWFC Members:

The Rhode Island Saltwater Anglers Assn. is hosting a surf only tournament on june 11-13, 2004. This is very similar to the fall MDA tournament, with similar prizes and catagories. This is a club tournament, and no individual sign up is needed, we already registered as a club, so you just need to get out and fish!! The boundaries are all of the west bay area from Napatree point to conimicut point (No east bay yet but this is the first year, I think a strong showing of NCSWFC members could help push this to a statewide tournament)

All fish have to be weighed in at either Weakapaug B & T or Eriksons B & T in Warwick...
This is a chance to get off the island and do some fishing (For a good cause!)

There is an awards breakfast Sunday morning at 730A, and I need to know if you are interested in coming to this by 31 May, 04, so they have enough food (7 clams for breakfast)

For more info, http://www.risaa.org/tournaments/MStournaments.html

and if you plan on fishing and want to talk spots and stratagey etc.. feel free to contact me;

Sounds good chuck.... One of us will hold your hand as you venture over the big scary bridge... :D
Maybe a pre fishing NCSWFC meeting for a cold beer and then a hot cup of coffee?

Just curious as to why no East Bay fishing. RI is so small , why not any RI waters?

I think it had to do with the logistics etc.. having a B&T on that side etc... I think that if we have a good showing and interest that can expand... I'd love to have my favorite Jamestown spot available in the middle of June.... :humpty:
Maybe next year....
