Anyone got some advice on what kind of socks work well in waders? Usually just wear regular socks, but with all the walking I do, by the time I get back to the truck, my socks are usually pretty wet with sweat.

They run about $20. striperjerk1 05-26-2004, 11:02 AM i have the multi sport wool socks from REI. they are great, keeps feet warm and no sweat or smell. maddog2020 05-26-2004, 11:34 AM Smart Wool makes a great assortment of wool socks. :) The wool doesn't retain water, or odors and it keeps your feet warm when it cold and when its hot it wicks away the water. REI & EMS carry them as well as better shoe stores. I wear wool socks almost all year around. If the wool bothers your skin (rag wool socks can) put on a pair of thin silk, or polypro liners.
