Not a conventional job. Just hauling trash for a friend. You remember the duo I used to fish with and the wife was so sick? Well she passed on during the winter. Well, he needed a hand getting rid of some old stuff from the old house. So I gave him a hand. He let me have a bunch of old fishing stuff that won't fit in his house anymore.
While we were working, he pulled out the flex coat manual on rod building. This brought up a conversation about rod building and I told him my interest in it and he said, "Ya know Pat, I sold most of my rods away since I only need a few now and I gave the broker I went through 3 lamiglas blanks, I'll try to get them back for you."
It wasn't a "real job" but it's a start.
This working thing isn't so bad! ;)
