one plug I scuffed the spar urethane with a "ooo" scotch brite pad and coated with envirotex......the other plug I just coated with envirotex, no scuff.......they currently both look great. My questions are these...1. Will the dry time vary from one plug to the other? 2. Do you envirotex users all scuff before applying envirotex? 3. How long do I have to keep flipping these flippin' plugs while they set-up?????

Thanks for the help as always.:thanks:

every ten minutes for a couple of hours until it sets up. do your self a favor a make a drying rack. you'll save time and your sanity.

I made a drying rack for thirty bucks. it works sweet, and it is so simple to make.

With Envirotex-Lite I don't flip them once. I put on a coat and let it cure overnight. I flip it and put on a second coat. No Problems yet.

I think its more important to wipe them off with alcohol than to scuff them. scuffing wont hurt, but if you dont clean them, you'll get bald spots where the epoxy wont want to stick:(
