Anybody now any tricks to get the funk out and to keep it out. It getting to the point where I think its driving the coyotes out of town. I've only worn them maybe a 1/2 dozen times.
Should I be rinsing the crap out of them after every use?

Don't smell them. :)
...no seriously, don't go with padded wading-boots. They retain water longer and are also harder to completely rinse and DRY....and if you're constantly in them....P - yuke. Trust me, I do a LOT of walking and when your using waders...IMO >> the wader bootie is lining enough for comfort. The thinner the wall of the boot, the less it can absorb. I also hang mine upside down to let gravity help with the drainage so it doesn't just sit in the sole until it decides to dry. Mine are going on 2 years and they're not bad at all....aside from falling apart :D

I have two pair of wading boots I use. The ones I use in freshwater as well as salt SMELL something fierce! :( I scrubbed them out and leave them in the sun to bake. I think the stench is from storing them wet. These particular pair has neoprene inner sole and my other ones have removeable insert like sneakers.

ya know what I hate is the smell skid marks have .
pour some baby powder in them . then they will smell as fresh as a babies behind .

I wash mine with fresh water after everytime, no smell, could try baking soda, works great on hunting clothes? might work.
about every month or so I fill up my Cooler with water and a cup of bleach and dunk my boots, waders and plugbag in there.. gets the stink right out- plus i'm killing two fish with one plug.. i'm cleaning the cooler too:D:
If I really have my act togeter(rarely) I'll dump what's left over into the bed liner of my truck, because sometimes it gets pretty fishy back there....
speaking of which....by the smell of thiings it might be time:yak:
