I am looking for a Boga Grip, does anyone have them in stock? Is there a 50lb model avail? I only saw 15# & 30# models listed on the Bass Pro Shops site.

Thanks,
Don

Got mine from Bass Pro Shops ($120). I have never seen anything but the 15 and 30 lb models.

I have the 30lb model - it is a great tool. Very well built, and makes it a breeze to land and release fish. I keep a 50lb digital scale in the glove box, just in case I ever catch THE BIG ONE.

Rich,

A Boga Grip is a jaw-type gaff that's commonly used to lip fish for release. It also has a scale in it. The two "fingers" of the jaw grab the lip of the fish without puncturing it. Very good on blues especially, if you can get them to hold still for it. :)

Been trying to get it myself. Called the company many times. There's only one company that makes it and I get the feeling it's a small operation or at least a small part of their operation. Their product is in high demand and they seem to pretty much pick and choose the orders they want to take.

Wish we all had those kind of problems. ;)

Saw a Boga grip in the display case at the Orvis shop near Faneuil Hall today.
