It was a real slow morning. Started fishing @ 4 am. Got three twinks until 6:00. Which is about the time I usually pack up and go home to get ready for work. I heard a big slap down the channel so I decided to give it that "5 more casts" that I am sure everybody else does (we all know it usually ends up more like fifteen). On my fifth cast about three feet in front of me my assassin got hammered, then bzzzzzzzz the fish went screaming down river. Nothing huge, 37" probably around 15-17#. I know by now it isn't even worth posting a picture this size, but my budy was with me and I had my camera, so I had him snap a shot before I let her go.

I wanted to actually post this one. I look much more handsome without the cool guy face.

Nice fish man, I know I am always hopin for a good one on those last extra couple casts then I really have to quit not like the casts before that I promised myself I would leave. I also love it when they snatch your offering right when you about to pick up your rod for another cast...sorta makes your heart stop a tick haha :D

Nice one Mikey...save a few for me already!!!! I am going fishing in the river that flows thru Seville, Spain in the AM. The guy at the hotel desk says there are "black bass" and "carpones", he says they will bite on corn or bread, so I am sure he means carp. I will post a pic, if I am lucky enough to catch the village idiot.:D

Mikey me and my buddy fished last night from 11:30p.m. till little after 4 this morning. We did pretty good on the other side. Biggest one was 32in but I had one take me down on the other side of the pilon and snapped me off. all of them on swimmers though.
