Does anyone know where I can pick up some of that stuff someone sells for putting in a live well that neutralizes the ammonia that comes off a fish ? Heard about it never seen it.
Think it is a good idea for keeping the little fishies alive longer ?

Ammo-carb, you can buy cartons of it at the pet store. This stuff absorbs it, they also sell concentrated liquids that neutralize it.

they have "pillows" of ammo-carb too.
it is in a mesh bag that you drop in the tank.

There are also different grades of "Ammo-Carb".Hobby grade which is what you get in pet stores. Then there's Professional
grade and finally Research grade.Mail order outfits like That Fish Place carry the higher grades.
