I am looking for an inexpensive pair of decent pliers that can also cut braid. I was looking at the X-tools floating pliers at Capecodtackle.com, they sound pretty good anyone have any experience with these?

yes and they work great :) get the smaller of the 2 they make.

FYI - Kid's Fiskars sissors work great on braid - <$4/pair. I got mine at a local CVS & Walgreen's.
