Was just looking at that nice shot of Block on the main page and it made me wonder where the best places are to pick up surf fishing related photography.

I'm thinking of either shots of actual surf fishing in action, or just nice shots of some of the more famous "spots" like the one of the Block on the main page.

Can any of you guys point me in the right direction?

Thanks.

I am told the cover is a photo taken by island photographer/newspaper columnist Malcolm Greenway. He has a studio where he sells this and other images. This photo was taken at S.E. Light area of B.I

Maybe he can help

There's an artist around here who does some really nice striper/spots paintings. I forgot his name, but his stuff is good! Good and expensive.

Thanks for the kind words, men :btu: - it's greatly appreciated!

The website will be coming along shortly thanks to a webmeister par excellance ya just might know - me and Mrs. Crafty are pretty excited about it. I know you guys are gonna like it.

Most of my stuff right now is vintage striper smut and fishy natural history prints but I do have some contemporary images like the one on the front page and will be shooting more over the course of this season. That Southeast Light image on the front page was shot back in the mid-'80's on Kodachrome with a Hasselblad, which is a tough combo to beat.

What I'm working on right now is some wearable fish porn - the first run should be done in about 10 days or so - any of you guys who were at the Rhody Leg a coupla weeks back got a look at the prototypes. They're gonna be awesome - four color process silk-screens. In fact, we're gonna do an entire line of FishWear as time goes on. More on that later as soon as I pay the C.O. :)

And as far as other works of art go in another medium, you GOTTA check out Eben's stuff - it's pretty freakin' phenominal.
