Is anyone here using them?? they look great and you can switch a plug in about 1 second with them but I'm nervous that a thrashing blue or bass might 'shakeaway' the plug right off of the clip.
Any thoughts???

No problems here and I have been using them for about a month now!
Takes a bit of getting used to as far as on and off but once you get the hang of it its a piece of cake!!
This is my second year using them. All I can say is:btu:

U guys tie direct, or do ya add a swivel to it?
If you do use a swivel can you post a picture/write of the order you attach everything from the line? The diagram on the back is confusing. ;)
thanks

There was another post not to long ago about them. And that was the first time I have heard of them. Well I went down to MikeCC and got some and they are great!! I use them on everything now!!
Yes I put a swivel on it and then tye to line. I also have another swivel on the rig Iam putting on. Makes switching rigs a snap!!

I take it these break away clips aren't snap swivels, huh? Can anyone post a pic or will tackle shops know what I'm talking about if I ask for them?

Just think of the as a small strong Staimless paper clip. They work the same way!
You no when you put 2 paper clips toghter, well thats how you put your rig on the breakaway.
I like to put a swivel on some do not? Your choise. They come in 2 sizes, 30# and 80# I use the 80# for everything.

Took me a little bit to get used to, I like them now.:D
If your using braid you don't need a swivel... or at least I never use them and never have any problems...
