Any time is the right time for eels....especially when there are fish around!;) By all means take a bucket full of eels out for a swim, the water is fine. I fish eels all year long from June to November.:D

So how should I rig an eel?
I think I may pick up a dozen on the way home and try out on the jetty around 10PM

i was taught to run hook up under chin and thru eye socket(sounds pretty grusome ehh). they stay on hook well and have no problem hooking fish. if you need to calm them a bit, you can crimp tail section with your pliers.

Around that jetty your refering to low tide is at 8:39 pm. High tide isn't until 2:42am. That place is gonna be empty at 10.

well, I had a relatively relaxing time tossing my three eels.
Boy do they jump to life after they go on the hook!!
no luck but far better chances than if I had stayed home :)
