I have noticed thatsome fish have well defined lines and others have jaggiez in their lines.
looking in some books I see that these are called "hybrids"
exactly what are they mixing with to get the jaggies in the lines?

hybrids are usually found in large lakes. They are a cross of the striped bass (Morone saxatilis) and the white bass (Morone chrysops)
I forget what the cross is but if crossing male gametes of one species with the female gametes of the other, you get a palmeto bass (slighlty smaller less aggresive) were is if you take the reciprocal you get a sunshine bass ( larger fish and aggresive) or is it the other way a round??
man, my finfish professor would be pissed if he heard that!
anyway the choppyiness or the lack of is suppose tell the origin of the fish (ie chesapeak bay)
just my two cents
