Looking for another 12 V Air Compressor to refill my SUV Tires. The one I had before was terrible... So much for Job Lot...

What kind of vehicle you running?
You might think about hunting down a York style compressor and rig it up engine driven.

They work great, I've helped out with putting 2 in jeeps for rock crawling.

Check out this link for some ideas for onboard air: http://www.jedi.com/obiwan/jeep/yorkair.html

Thanks for your suggestions. Really what I am looking for is a cigarette lighter compressor. I know that they are not powerful but I could use something reliable in that category.... :)

I can't believe that I didn't put that together. My 13 year old daughter would have said.... Duh

you might be able to get someithing similar to what they use on 18 wheelers.. you can mount that right under the hood.. i can't imagine they would be too expensive.. problem with cigarette lighter pumps is that they are slow ..

just a thought
