For some reason , I occasionally cannot get the screen to come up to reply to threads. this is the second time. I'm using Netscape right now. At home I have IE and I never have the problem.
For Striperman. If you use lots of nicknames , why not drop the striperman one. Just as there is only one #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& (Bill Nolan) , there should only be one Striperman (Tony Stetzko). Since you have several , it shouldn't hurt to leave that one for its original owner.
For John R... we have fished together before but it was about 15 months ago (early April last year). I ran into you and Bill on the West Wall. You can pinpoint the time by remembering when you bought the Mag Elite. I know it was new to you because of the "Crack" sound that occasional came from your line as you tried to throw the small jigs with the new reel. That must ring a bell? I thought it was pretty ballsy trying to throw those 1/2 jigs with a conventional (I use a spinner for the light stuff) . I have since learned that Bill does it all the time with no problem. Anyway , I'm sure we fished together at least once on the wall. I was fishing the $120 Lami Steelhead rod blank with the Mildren SS guides taped on all crooked with black electrical tape. That ring a bell?

Saltydog, I remember fishing next to you briefly at the Wall. I also remember Bill and I were leaving the bridge when you snagged a 18' skiff with your herring !!! But I would like to get out and seriously fish the big stuff soon with you... As you have probably read on the site, I'll be living down that way in the not-too-distant future....

That's right. I forgot about that day. Imagine that's 2 herring seasons ago already! I guess when you move down here we'll have to go eel slinging at .... well you know.
