Well tonight I witnessed what it is to be about as proud as a father can be!!!
A little back ground first!

My son Josh at 9 yrs old made the AAA allstar team in the Scituate/Foster Little League this year. Just that is enough to make any father proud!

Well tonight in the 4th game of their Burriville, RI tournament
he showed everyone including his Father(who had no doubt in his mind!) that he belongs there!!

They went into this game against the Lincoln team 3-0 with wins against Burriville 3 of 21-0,Vernum(wherever that is) 11-0 and Lincoln 3 of 13-3!

The team is now 4-0 with a 8-4 victory against a very good Lincon 1 team!!

What makes a father proud?

My son Josh playing center field threw out not one but two runners at home plate during the game!!!

Another Dwight Evan's in the making????????????????????????

There was another carbon copy play in which the umpire said that the runner slid in under the tag!! Well needless to say we all didnt agree!

ONE PROUD DAD!!!!!!!
Almost enough to bring tears to my eyes!!!!

I look at this team and wonder what how strong the Scituate High School team will be in 2009-2012!!!!!
