Just called Abu and they're unaware of the pinion gears blowing up in the 7k?

Heard that they'd send a spare?
Arrrr

Anyone got an answer to this?

Busted a gear on a fish during the herring run jigging on a black Abu Big Game. Mike At M+Ds hooked me up with a new one. Thanks again Mike

I know Mike is out of them, he had given me one a while back to fix one of mine but now the other is screwed up. I guess I'll call ABU too.

I just got off the phone with ABU. They said to send the reels to them for repair or replacement. Not what I wanted to hear, just send me the dam part!!:af:
Here's their info if someone else wants to give it a shot.

Ok, update from Buckos

They don't have them in stock.

BUT I asked for them to order a whole bunch in (3 or 4... I know more of you will want em.) and they'll be in in about a week week and a half.

$10 part @ Buckos.

Ask for Joanne if any of you wanna call in about a week.

Buckos should have them this week.

Give em a call about it. :D

I'd rather support a local when I can.
