Got Stripers

Honda 130 4-stroke started Sunday but wouldn't continue to run, just kept stalling and died quickly anytime I put any throttle on it. I needed some other things on the boat attended to, so I didn't even look at the separator or test for water yet, assuming the shop would do so. Figures the guys on vacation all week and it's call Monday to "see" what his schedule is on return. Anyone have a reliable Honda guy on the south shore of mass or close to the canal?

easy thing to do: check your fuel lines
make sure its getting fed
might be some blockage/fuel filter munged up/water seperator eating it
really sounds like you're starving it somewhere
Bad for you !!
Good for the fish !!

I don't know of one off hand, I'll ask around...

I always try the easiest/most common fix first. Change the fuel bulb when there seems to be a fuel starving problem. Also, there is a clear filter under the cowling. Just look at it to see if water got past your inline separator. Chances are, if it runs fine at low rpms but dies on accceleration it's not water (especially if it's not hard to start)
BTW, I have the same motor.
