Got one last night.. it had a yellow litoral society tag near its vent.

it says $5- $1000 reward....IF I remember right, a rhody Writer for OTW won the thousand $$ prize last year:D:

Thomas got a 20-22"er in Tarpaulin Cove about a month ago, was pink tag, US Fish/Wildlife service, called the number and the girl took info etc, sent him a way cool striper hat and a nice certificate saying the fish had been tagged in January of 2004 off the coast of North Carolina. Kid was pumped and wears the hat everywhere now :D

last year I caught a tag bass and thought the tag was a parisite or something... I threw it back in disgust:smash:

My daughter got a schoolie with the $10 - 1000 reward msg on it. I need to send that in.

I got a littoral society tagged fish last year and my wife got one a couple seasons ago.

All well and good, but just the same, I'd rather hit the lottery.

Got one pink one this year on a 30" fish...Still didn't call it in and that was back in June.

caught a few of them in past. from hudson river foundation's striped bass recovery program. they you in a drawing for cash, and offer either a hat or a framable litho certificate.
