Went out again today and still no sharks. we did have a good day of polluck fishing, saw a minke whale but no sharks. Oh well.

i'm trying this monday.
should be getting about that time.
last year my first trip out was august 17'th got twelve that day.

:) Since you are from N.H. get yourself up onto Jefferies around what they call the fingers, take plenty of chum chum with ya!!!

this time of year you shoul have no problem!!!

August --------october isthe time to fish for them around here!!!;) :cool:

Actually, i just relocated to gloucester. Should be there for the next few months, perfect timing.

no sharks for us either today.
no signs of life out there, east of stellwagen, no whales,no tuna. no sunfish, no baskers, no nothing?
saw some school tuna arround the b bouy{like 20#'ers}
perfect seas though.
but, the cod were very cooperative :)
got a couple 25 pounders:)

Talked to the spotters yesterday, s'been a really weird season.

They're usually there, but they haven't been... Could be the weather, check out the recent gulf stream charts.

yes, it actually works better if you don't drop the chum overboard so the whole bucket sinks to the bottom:smash:
