About 3 years for me. When I started there was one board and about 12-15 basement builders that had been doing it for a while before I got there (Fixter,BM, Jenty, Charlie M, Krispy, Guzz, Jigman, Mr. Pogie, Basshol, EP,Rattboy, 10 x 10 and a few others). I can't believe how this has caught on.

I am a carpenter and have over 20 years in the trade. So working with the tools comes second nature.

Started making plugs around 3 1/2-4 years ago. First couple were actually hand carved  Started tying flies, then moved on to jigs, spinnerbaits, etc. That all started around 25 years ago.

Made my first back in 1980. A wood rasp, various files, a palm sander, mitre saw and lots of hardwood dowels. I still have the first one, a white darter with screw eyes for hook holders.
