Don't be so hard on Theresa.....I think Wakefield has a 120 pitch count limit and a 7 homer per game limit....so I think he still had one to give!:smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash:

Can you believe that jack-ass left Wakefield in there after he had given up, what was it, four homers in the first two innings??????:wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:

Francona is not longed for this job!!!

Any manager leaves his starter in like that, given those circumstances should be fired on the spot!:behead:

Did you know that several years ago I hung the nickname "Chuck and Duck" on Wakefield?

When a knuckleballer is getting lit up like that, it's because his knuckler is spinning. Check out the slo-mo replay of the dinger he served up to Boone and you'll see that pitch spinning like a top.

"He had good stuff, he just couldn't hit his locations"???? I thought the whole idea of the knuckleball was that it went wherever the air currents took it. It ain't exactly a "location pitch" there, Terry  :wall:

I think what Francona meant by "good stuff" was that any pitch that Wakefield tossed that did not land in the seats was good stuff!:D :hihi: :bl:
