Well after striking out last weekend out of Block Island (Saturday no bites....Sunday too rough to go out) I think I'll try going out of the Merrimack River. I've heard lots of reports of footballs up that way from Cape Ann to 5 miles off the mouth of the Merrimack. Has anyone here been fishing these areas for footballs over the past week or so? How they biting?

Watch the forecast it's supposed to get pretty rough up here by tomorrow evening. The weekend is looking like a blow-out both days unfortunately.

forget this weekend Seas will not lay down till mid week. Sounds like a "honey-do" weekend.
