Finally need to replace a part on my Shimano Stradic.
Any where around the Quincy area that I can PICK-UP drag washers for a Stradic 8000 FH? Cooked mine out in a year and it cracked. I know Bucko's in Fall River is the "area" repair place, but I don't have time to get down there when they are open and can't fish until I get it.
HELP!!!!!

You can order directly from Shimano but don't expect your parts until 10 days from now. I just ordered a new drive and pinion gear for my BTR 6500. Let me know I have the #'s at home.

Bucko's will ship to your door in a couple of days if they are in stock...

I actually need one of those little tiny clips that hold your shaft in place. They are like a few mm long (very small). I don't want to pay shipping and handeling for 1 cent part. Anybody have any ideas?

I'm not sure but try Mike @ M & D's ( cape cod tackle ). I know he has reels there but not sure if he has parts. Right on the way to the Cape.

Mikey,
My thoughts were the same- Didn't want to have to pay more for shippin and grabbin than I did for the part itself.

What's worse is they charge you $3.50 or more for shipping and handling, and then put the small parts in an envelope with a $0.37 stamp on it.......been there, done that......

Only thing I can suggest is get an inventory of any parts for all your reels that you may need in the next few years, and order them all at once....at least that offsets the shipping cost a bit. Think ahead......screws for the cover plates corrode, drag washers, bearings, bail springs, line rollers, etc.....

Mikey.....is that clip for the Baitrunner? If so, did you lose it, break it, or is it just bent (I've seen them just bend)? If it is just bent, you can straighten it out with a pair of needlenose pliers, and it will work fine for the interim until you can get a new one.....

Lost it. The thing is so small I think it is somewhere stuck in the greese inside the reel.

Its a Shimano.....no such thing as a 1cent part.Bucko's is reasonable.
