Karl F 08-27-2004, 07:45 PM uhhhhh.... I thought you committed to that on live mike at the conclusion of PN2????
I am sure it is a lot of work to set up, but we all appreciate it.... I seem to remember from my "club" experience, the best thing for you to do is volunteer some volunteers to help you RIGHT now! ;)
delegation is a beautiful thing, my friend.

BasicPatrick 08-28-2004, 01:30 AM Ok Big fish,
It goes like this. Since you have stepped up and for the third year will have my back at the MSBA Show, the least I can do is return the favor and get your back for the third time at Plug Nite 3.
I say we do it again, but just a li'l bit bigger and better next year, with maybe a few more suprises.:D
It won't be official until the E-board meeting but if I was a member of this board I might just tell my boss I need to be out of work early (with my check) on the fourth Wed night of August 2005.

The Dad Fisherman 08-30-2004, 07:44 AM I would definitely come down for it again. It was well worth the ride.
Who knows I might even try my hand at making a few in the "#^&#^&#^&#^& season. :D
marky1 08-30-2004, 08:01 AM I would go,but ,How about having one on the other side of Boston (north)? Just an idea!
BigFish 08-30-2004, 09:59 AM It is where it is Marky1, wish we could accomodate everyone and have it in their neighborhood, but that is not possible.....had one guy come all the way down from Maine and still another all the way from New Jersey......is the ride from north of Boston that bad?:smash:

Ummm.....Yeah, It took me 2 hours to get there from Salem (But Well Worth It).
It only took me 1 hour to get home afterwards and I live a 1/2 hour north of Salem.
I will do it again though because it was a great event.
BigFish 08-30-2004, 10:14 AM You know what I am sayin' though TDF.....people whine cause' it is not within walking distance of their house then there is not much I can do about that! MSBA has been meeting there for decades and I do not see the venue changing anytime soon! So gas up, grab a cup of "joe" for the ride and make the most of it.:D
The Dad Fisherman 08-30-2004, 10:43 AM You can never please everybody BF. I know the traffic sucks so I just plan for it.
PI Surfcasters are always looking for members. No reason someone can't join the club and organize something similar there. Get some of the Southshore guys up here for some of our hospitality :D
marky1 08-30-2004, 11:31 AM It might not be a bad ride,it was only an idea. By all means,I am not looking for any cheese for my "whine" :laughs: I am going to have to just go to the next one ,...whenever the next one will be.
