I have a Furuno Radar and recently I have noticed that the image is skewed about 30 degrees from what I am seeing. I have it in heads up mode. Has anyone else had this probelm?

MTC 09-03-2004, 07:51 AM The problem may be that the antener may have rotated...... take the cover off and see if things are loose! MakoMike 09-03-2004, 11:45 AM If the antenna is O.K. you can adjust the display on most units. Duke41 09-03-2004, 03:01 PM thanks for the help. :D Raider Ronnie 09-04-2004, 04:41 PM Originally posted by Van Raider Ronnie's is off a bit, he told me he needs to "calibrate" it. Could that be why? Ya, I also have a Furuno unit on my boat, The unit was on my old boat and only 1 year old at the time,so I used it on my new boat. ( f--- 3a marine!!! I didn't leave a thing on my trade for them!!! ) But when I installed it on my new Parker last year I didn't adjust the heading and it's off a bit! It's not a big deal to adjust , but you need to be in open water and get a fix on a target then calibrate it according to the manuals instructions. I guess one of these days I'll get around to adjusting mine:smash: :smash: :smash: Ronnie vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
