Interesting hearing the guy talk last night - not what I expected at all...

Al had a great time last night and wanted to thank everyone for their hospitality. The few that heard him speak last night I'm sure could tell he was talking from his heart, no BS there.

For those of you that missed him the Bigfish is working on another speaking engagement in the future. Al said he is looking forward to it since the turnout was so low last night. :(

he is a great story teller. And it is a great story to boot.

did anyone take him up on his offer and go out fishing last night?

what a great guy!
i walked over to shake his hand and he jumped up out of his seat like I was the famose one.
very friendly indeed.

anyone who heard the story strait from the horses mouth, should have no doubt he's not a b.s. artist!

with an entire family who's got more 50# and 60# bass under there belt than alot of fishing clubs, it definitly runs in the family.

he's a cool guy, that's for sure. i've met him a couple of times on the beach down here in NJ, a few miles from where he got that big fish. very easy to talk to, and shares information like it's going out of style.

He seemed like a hard workin stiff who loves to fish - like the rest of us.

I enjoyed his story and the autographed picture that I got. It was also good meeting some of the SB members for the first time. The drive back to NH was worth it.

I thought his story was very interesting. I thought it was very nice that he is giving the money to children because at school im in early childhood education so to see money going to kids is great. In school we have 2 weeks to tech the children about the ocean and marine life. i wish i could take the kids from school on a fishing trip it would be so much fun.

I think Albert McReynolds was one of the best "entertainment"speakers we have had in a long time. What a genuine guy! Thanks Al and nice to meet you!!
