Some friends I work with have chartered a 36' boat for striper fishing off of race point. It takes 6 and we are short 2 due to cancelations. The boat leaves the dock in Plymouth, MA at 7:00am tomorrow morning (9/19) and returns at 1:00. If you are interested email me directly at mike@basspond.com. The cost is $75 each.

This is the same outfit that we go out with every year and we usually do very well.

Hey Mike where ya been? Hae not seen ya around lately. Been fishing the Nut? Saw four guys at the Squantum end of Wolloston yesterdayn afternoon. One guy was in waders in the surf. The others were chunking, didn't look like they were catching. I was thinking of fishing this week, however I am home with poison ivy. It s*%$s, I was out for 8 days two weeks ago with an upper respiratory infection, now I am home with this. Hope you fill up the boat and get some nice ones.

Good to hear from you too Specialist. I have been spending a little time at the Canal and Wachusett Reservoir. I plan to head back to Nut soon though. I went there a few weeks ago and it just wasn't the same. I wish they didn't let people drive right out to the dock (except for the handicaped). That way I wouldn't have to put up with blasting rap music when I just want to relax. How about you? Where have you been spending your time lately?

Mike

I don"t know for sure , but me thinks I got it Thursday at work.
I will carry identification pictures for future reference, excuse me while I scratch......, By the way canalratt on the MSBA web page check out the article on Nut island.

I have been to the ditch the last couple of weekends. Might go down there this weekend but it is up in the air right now. I hear ya about the rap thing. That would be all the people from over the bridge.

We were able to muster up another person so we ended up eating the cost of one person.

We went out today but instead of Race Point (dead according to the captain) we hung around Duxbury.

The action was a little disappointing compared to when we went out in Juky but the weather was great and it was sure better than working!!

We managed a few stripers but no keepers. We were using umbrella rigs and did have a couple of double hookups. The largest fish caught was a 29'' blue.

Apperently the blues were feeding on squid because one of them spit out a whole one.
