I have been getting my line bit to pieces by blues, I keep loosing hooks and its annoying to keep tying them on again and again 7 times an hour. Im going after stripers so i can't put a metal leader on, is there any way i can preserve my line and hooks while catching blues and stripers?

Thanks, where can i find this stuff and is it expensive? becuase i dont have much of a buget.

I guess if i can find some ill use 3', since im going off of a dock loaded with herring and baitfish, its better than having a boat!

Will the flouro be much more bite resistant than mono? I've had blues cut 60# Ande mono leader...

I find you can get 5-8 small blues and 2-3 BIG blues before you have to retie to remove the chafed areas..... you can see it easy nuff to keep an eye on it...

Canal Rat, If blues don't like seaworms then how come they eat one on the back of a tube'n worm? Just curious is it the stink?

thats beacause the tube is moving the blue is going after the tube it does not care about the worm blues will bite anything but when bottom fishing blues ignore worms and clams

well, i have a boat but i spend most of my time on the docks at the back river. i find it more convinent to be able to go around catch herring and fish at the same time. its not necessary to have a boat in the back river becuase at the docks ur in it.

lived in Hingham/Weymouth my whole life, but I can't picture the "docks" for the life of me. They must be down a ways past Bare Cove... Tightlines....
