Was at the marina last nite and the Blues came in on a feeding
frenzy. Never saw so many. My wife was wondering what was going on. She though they were going to eat the boat. For two hours I was catching blue after blue. They ruined three Rattle Traps on me, I mean, ripped the treble hooks right off the lures.
They would circle the entire marina and then come back again.
They were feeding on the mummies that were there. Thousands traveling in there own little schools and the blues just a chompen away at them. My shoulders and back are so sore, I used mussels that I didn't even know I had. My wife was even afraid to get out of the boat and stand on the dock. She said that she has never seen such a sight.

It's like that for 45 days on the other side of the Neck... It would be nice if all bluefish traveled up in the bay and left the big shoreline alone :smash:

Clammer,
1st year there. Last 3 at Greenwich Bay North Yard B. It got too expensive and got tired of them moving me around. First dock C slip11, then dock H, slip 24, then dock J, slip 6, then back to dock C slip 5. If I wanted to stay there, I would have to pay for a 25ft slip @ $85 per ft because they put in new docks. So I had it.
