Getting on a plane tomorrow morning to visit Mickey. Hopefully next Sunday I can take the kids for a walk on the beach so I can check out a spot I want to try.

I'm really looking forward to the Rhody Leg and I am hoping that I have enough brownie points so I can get out at least once before then.

Tell Gwen to have fun,

Have to go to a wedding on the inlaws side tonight. Recooperate tomorrow and get the boat ready saturday afternoon. Gonna go out late saturday night or early Sunday morning. Weather permitting. It is pouring out right now. Figure it will settle down by sunday. Probably gonna hit Watch Hill or the Race. Undecided right now. Liveline and pull some wire.

It's home to CT to visit family before I disappear to fish for five days. I leave for the Cape after work on Tuesday to fish the back beaches until Sunday.

From what I here fishing has been good, so I'm starting to get a bit excited.

I'm still up in the air, but I think I will just wing it all weekend. I'm not planning any early morning campaigns, maybe an afternoon if the weather looks good. May even decide to go freshwater, since the boats still loaded with all my freshwater gear.

Maine is supposedly still hot. Will be up for the incoming Saturday and outgoing Sunday. Sorry I haven't posted. Too busy at work this summer, but not too busy to fish. Good season in Maine. Not as good as 98 but a lot better than the last two seasons.

Careful Specialist,
I went fishing with my dad last weekend; my rat boat ended up opening up a stress crack where the keel and starboard side meet. We had about 100 gallons in the 15' rat by the time we made it in to the ramp (@7 mph I might add). The old man wanted to keep fishing, though.
Hope you have better luck; I'm landlocked 'till next year.
Did well on charter two weekends ago, 12 keepers. 40 fish with my brother the next day.
Good luck everybody else, I'm @ work all weekend.
Opening a new restaurant in Needham, MA in 6 weeks called "Erin's Isle," if anybody's up that way.
66 Chestnut St. if you want to Mapquest it.
Also, if anybody knows of anybody lookig to sell a galvy roller trailer w/ brakes for a 23', I'm very intersted.
Later,
Rick
