Any oppinions on the Redington BarrierFlex™ Waterproof Breathable Chest Waders
( I thought it was funny that they were called "waterproof" since they are waders and that is kind of the point)
Let me know
Thanks

I don't have that specific pair, but I've put it tons of time trying to find the perfect wader.
Go with simms. I have a pair of the lightweight gore-tex and they are the best waders I have seen.
good luck

I've been using the Cabela's Dry Plus II waders. The first pair I had lasted about 4 years then developed a leak in the leg seams (which I aqua-sealed) only to have them leak even worse over the next few weeks. I think the material just disintigrated.
I bought a new pair (also Cabela's) as they seem to have changed materials. Much lighter in weight and a better fit.
I don't know how many years yer supposed to get out of these, I use them heavily and figured 3-4 years was okay.] I'd rather load up on sweat pants or thermals under the waders than wear neoprene.
One friend of mine likes the Orvis breathables.
