The guys who stole my stuff over the summer just had there day in court.

They pleded guilty, and since they gave me all my stuff back right after they stole it, all they got was $100 Court cost each and contunied 6 months with out a finding.

So if they stay good for 6 months it will never have happened.

O well I did my best to hang them, but they will be free to get someone else stuff next summer!!

No one should have to go through what you went through... the good thing is that you got your stuff back.

gave the stuff back,,,after they got caught with it...what a bunch of bs.....what they need is hard labor for 6 months at no pay.

That is such BS....but you followed thru and that is what matters. Hopefully their names were in newspapers/police logs and I hope it caused them alot of embarrasment. I am glad you got your stuff back, F them.....:kewl:

I would have gotten a lawyer and tried to have both their hands cut off.

$100.00 fine- they were laughing about it the minute they left the courtroom I am willing to bet.

Courts, freakin' ridiculous... $100, and what did they learn.... don't get caught. I think I woulda voiced that to the Judge and Prosecutor, not that it would do any good......

My wife on a trial for a drunk driver and all he got was a $50 fine and the officer was there and he wasted a few hrs of his time as well along with the 12 other people on the jury. Driver was found guilty and OH, what a punishment...... I wonder if he KILLED some one that he would have gotten off because since he was drunk he wasn't responcible for his actions>?!

WTF is the matter with the justice system ..... just doesn't seem right. In other countries they cut your hands off when caught stealing. ;) Oh, and NO trial.

Owner did nothing!! And the other 2 persons did nothing eaither!! So I was alone.

Justice should have been served with some jail time and some communty service - walk the beaches in the 100 F heat and pickup the FK'n trash people leave behind (ie smoldering baby diapers, etc....LOL).

Standing around the coffee machine I heard a co-worker got taken to court (hearing) because some kids beat up his kid. Three kids gang up on his son (had to be hospitalized) and THEY get taken to court. The kids got arrested by the police. My co-worker and his wife were PISSED .... no they have to hire a lawyer and go thru all this BS. Some parent called the police and my co-worker SHOULD have pressed charges, but didn't.

What is this world coming to. :(

Lets see... rip off 6 cars in one night , get about $100 in stuff per car. get caught for one and pay $100 fine. $600-$100 = $500 for the night. My , that's a pretty good business to be in.

They Should at least have done a week in jail or a months community service or something. I think cutting the hands off is too harsh. perhaps just one hand each. got to leave one hand so they have something to lose if they do it again!

Anyway , they will be out there again , I have no doubt.

Maybe the judge will award them a percentage of the loot if they get caught again!...

Well for me its this, They will be good for 6 months then it will be dismissed!! With nothing on there record!!
If they payed $100 and had a record that would have at least been something but there will be nothing on there record come April!! Just in time for next season :af: :af:
