As you all know I am a Yankee fan, it should come down to these two teams. Haveing lived with Red Sox fan's my whloe life I think a WS win for the sox would be sweet for there fans but not compleet unless they have to go thru the Yankee's to get it.

Only a Yankeez fan would have the arrogance to say a Sox World Series isn't complete unless they go through NY :bsod:

Most of the Sox fan's I know agree with me. Like I said before if the Sox go the the WS I will root for them I would rather see them win than a NL team.

I'm an NL person. A die-hard Met fan. I hate the Yankees and the Braves, and I do root for the Red Sox in the AL. But i do have to agree with Mulder. It may not seem like it, but there will always be that in the back of fans' minds. When the mets got the pennant in 2000, there was always the thought "will we be here if the Braves beat the Cardinals?" There's always that little thought probably because th Mets were eliminated the year before by the Braves. It's a revenge factor, I guess.

being a sox fan, i have to agree with KLM, after all the history between these teams it would only be fitting and just to go thru the bronx!! go sox!!
