Directions are as follows (from KCO website):

From Route 95N: Take exit 91, go right at the end of the exit. Take the third left onto North Main Street. Travel for 1 mile at the traffic light go left onto (US Route 1), Go 1.3 miles King Cove is on the right.

From Route 95S: Take exit 91, go left at the end of the exit. Take the fourth left onto North Main Street. Travel for 1 mile, at the light go left onto (US Route 1), Go 1.3 miles King Cove is on the right.

From Mystic CT: Follow US Route 1 North towards Westerly RI. The Marina is 5 miles from Mystic on the right.

From Westerly RI: Follow US Route 1 South towards Mystic CT. The Marina is 3 miles from Westerly on the left.

From Route 2 East: Follow Route 2 to US Route 1. Go Right onto US Route 1 South. The marina is 3 miles on the left

Football Tailgating all day on Saturday. Sunday-Monday I've got another wedding.

Other than that, I'm gonna try and finish up some plugs for my Nantucket trip next weekend. :D

going to RIT tonight and MI tomorrow and return on monday.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Im on vacation all next week . so I will be fishing solo in RI , Ct , maybe the cape or an island .
saturday I will stop by kingdom come before 2 to get eels .

Tonight.. My cousin is up from virginia.. get to see my new godson

Tomorrow morning.. dumping the wives and taking him out fishing.. narragansett i hope...

The rest of the weekend is finishing a powerpoint presentation for my grandparents 50th anniversary on Sunday.... big ole party... better be a TV set up somewhere for the Pats...

I see sol has picked up on "weekend plans".........hoping my wife isn't making my weekend plans....I'll get all day sat in the boat, sunday I'm shore I'll pay for sat doing yard work:mad:

friday- work, sleep, fish
sat- jig - stop by crafty's, stop by 4leg mebbe, drive back up home pick up buddy, stop at a going away party, continue fishing, get home Tuesday around 2am and take a nap before work :D

Sunday - Pats Game

Monday - finish tiling the shower (and hopefully fish from the rocks)

Today - Crash course on aquastats, circulators and thermostats for installing an indirect hot water tank.
4pm Red Sox
Tomorrow - water tank goes in. Hopefully the Sox are watching other teams play, if not I'll listen or watch.
Sunday - Might still be working on water tank if not our Superbowl Patriots go for #19 in row. Go Pats!!!!!!!!!!

Some knuckleheads planned a wedding for the end of October.

Throw in a few dinner outings and my fall weekends have been sharply curtailed.

And no, you can't sign up anymore so if you are thinking of boating over a 40 or a 50 it's to late to get in on it.... :D

Fri: Sox.....lets go Sox. Close this thing out.
Sat: either going to boston to watch the Sox:gu: or fish in the AM then painting the house
Sun: Get the pooch some more field time in the morn before the season starts next weekend.....then Football!!

fri night, polyurethane 40ft of wainscoting.. and paint walls in living room..

sat day.. coyote proof backyard and finish painting..

sun.. listen to pats and finish what did not get finished on sat..

monday go back to work..

Soccer on Saturday with my girls and then sneek in a lawn mowing.

Saturday night try to hit the canal.

Sunday afternoon cookout.

So many places to fish not really sure where I will end up. Might head West or maybe South.....:)

Tonight cape. If there are no fish there, we will be in Rhody saturday night. Sunday night, do it all over again.

Eben... you lucky sob...I can tell you that the massive school of 30-40s that left here are on BI now...probabaly for the next week or so. Bring plenty of leader material. After you leave BI...head to Montauk.

I wish someone would attach the same device they put on that shark on a SB and we could track them down the coast.

I hope to make the SB Outing on Sat., but my son has a soccer game at 1:00 and I am helping coach the game. I am planning to leave right after the game. Off Monday, trying to line up a golf outing.

Wanted to head down to the festivities in Stongington but was going to be watching my dad's house and dog while he was away but that fell through.Sooo.......

........last Sunday night I broke a toe on my left foot and crunched another one on my right.An absolutely amazing run of crappy luck.

Had fun last time but I'm gonna pass till next spring's leg.

I did manage to fish a couple of somewhat painful hours last evening from a nice FLAT beach.What made it painful was I dropped another large keeper just moments away from being landed.Third time this year.Someday I'll get it right.

Crash course worked.
Aquastat top screw to #1 screw on hi/lo boiler thermostat, aquastat bottom screw to circulator white wire, circulator bottom wire to hi/lo thermostat #2 screw.
Project complete. :D :D

Weekend in review.

Friday - Sharp Right turn on the way home. ended up at Belsans :) picked up some herring, macs, and eels. Plus my repaired reel and spare spool. Had tasty keilbasa and clean

Saturday - Up at dawn, fished North River - bait everywhere.
Fish were jumping. They did not want what I had or how I handled it.

Sunday - Up at dawn again today. Back at the River - lots of bait. not as jumpy intil about an hour later (need to write that down) Still didnt want anything I offered. Near end of the morning I went so far as to toss some large plugs. One cast got the line wrapped around the Green Lane can. Got some help removing it - thanks!!! - a while later almost lost the same plug landing it in the marsh on the other side of the river.

Left there and stopped off to check out the smelt action. Not too well today. Clipped a sabiki on and jigged for a while. pulled out three silversides but no smelt.

I will be up at dawn again tomorrow but will be going to work :( Ah well. Next weekend I go hiking in the mountiains with the BoyScouts. Maybe smelting Tuesday....
