CANAL RAT 10-11-2004, 02:25 PM you could put superglue on the wrapping threads when your tying the teaser Arzic Olivier 10-12-2004, 07:30 AM I would add that you don't want to wrap to much stuff at the same time : one layer of fiber or bucktail, wrap, glue, then another one, etc... And it will help the hair/fiber stay in line with the hook, not open like an umbrella, when you use long bucktail, which has a large hair diameter. afterhours 10-12-2004, 07:44 AM make sure you putdown a good layer of underwrap, use a strong thread( kevlar or rod wrapping thread ) and wrap tightly. and like AZ said, don't wrap too much at once. RIJIMMY 10-12-2004, 12:23 PM Excellent suggestions, I will try this week. I have been wrecking an average of 5 teasers a week on bass and blues! RIROCKHOUND 10-12-2004, 01:35 PM RIJ.. I tie rough flies on big hooks for teasers... I use underwraps, and then cover the threads and up to the bottom of the eye with devcon 30min epoxy... works for me....
