I am an avid Striped Bass /Bluefish Fly Fisherman in Western LI Sound and am wondering if you can give me some advice and hopefully provide me with what I am looking for. I currently fish with a Pflueger 89-90 9' 9 wt and am looking to upgrade to a better rod without breaking the bank. I am looking for something a little stiffer in the tip without loosing that light gear feel. I've become a good caster with this rod (60'-75' cast) but am looking for something that will give me a little extra cast length. I currently fish the rod with 10 wt line and an Okuma 8/9 reel. I'd be interested in either anothe 9wt or possibly a 10 wt in the price range of upto $150. Thanks in advance for any help you may provide.
