I really don't have much to compare this years run too, I only got serious about it all this year. I have certainly put a good amount of time in, and I am just starting to learn the trade. I think my location kinda sucks I live right on the water but surf casting around home is spotty, so traveling is a must. I have gotten ok at the canal, I do it alone and haven't fished with anyone with any knowledge-yet;) so as far as the run goes I am no one to say. But I will say I am happy with my personal effort and I am starting to produce, some nights..:rolleyes: I love the outdoors and everything about it. I study my surroundings and appreciate it and try to meld with it..I can spend hours and hours and never tire of it. I have had nights where I am holding the skunk but, to be waist deep in the surf on a new moon under black skies and dead silent I think to myself there is no place I would rather be, (until my drag starts screaming and my heart stops for a minute)..And now when I spend hours outside my girl doesn't think I am just sneaking off into the woods for a little "attitude adjustment"...Nope, I am heading into the surf for a little attitude adjusting..I just wanted to say thanks to all that have shared a little hard learned knowledge. I think this site is great, with a great mix of people.. I hope to get to know more of you and I am going to make an effort to get to some of these tourneys so I can wet a line with people cut of the same cloth..Thnx again..and thnx John ...

My sentiments exactly. I know you guys get a lot of newbies and all, and everyone gets frustrated with repeat questions but there is always someone who will give an answer. I just wan't to say thanks for the patience and knowledge you guys hand out.
Reelecstacy I go down the ditch a lot too , although the season is closing maybee we can get together down there before it ends.
